We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our fellowship members, pastors, leaders, saints, and visitors. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, hosted via our web platform at ucjc-app.vercel.app.

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access or use the application.

To provide a functional and enriching connectional experience during our national gatherings, regional meetings, and Holy Convocation, we may collect the following types of information:

A. Personal Data You Provide Voluntarily

• Account Registration & Profile Information: When registering for an account or checking into the Holy Convocation, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and local church or auxiliary affiliation.
• Stewardship & Financial Data: If you use the secure giving or registration feature to sow seeds, pay conference assessments, tithes, or offerings, transaction data is processed. All financial transactions are encrypted. We do not store or retain your full credit card numbers or bank account credentials on our servers; these are handled directly by our secure, third-party payment processors.
• User-Generated Content: This includes any conference notes, sermon takeaways, or scripture passages you type and save within the session notes feature, as well as messages shared via our fellowship chat rooms.

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Location Data: The App includes mapping, venue orientation, and directions features (such as navigating convention center grounds). With your permission, we may collect precise or coarse real-time location data via your device’s GPS to provide accurate spatial directions. You can enable or disable location tracking at any time through your device settings.
• Device and Log Information: We may collect data automatically from your mobile device, including your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system type and version, unique device identifiers, device manufacturer, and push notification tokens.
• Usage Analytics: We collect data regarding how you interact with the App (e.g., pages viewed, schedules accessed, live-stream engagement time) to help us streamline performance and design future conference features.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected through the App for internal purposes strictly tied to our fellowship activities, including to:

• Administer, manage, and optimize your experience during our conferences and Holy Convocation.
• Facilitate the Fellowship Directory, allowing connected members and sister churches to locate and communicate with one another.
• Deliver real-time push notifications regarding schedule alterations, room modifications, or special call-to-order assemblies.
• Process your conference registrations, events, and charitable giving secure contributions.
• Deliver high-quality live stream broadcasts and manage the media archive of past sermons and educational auxiliary workshops.
• Maintain the security, stability, and integrity of our digital ecosystem.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with outside commercial third parties. Your data is only shared under the following limited circumstances:

• Third-Party Service Providers: We may share necessary data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us with essential technical infrastructure, such as cloud hosting (Vercel), database management, push notification delivery, and secure encrypted payment gateways. These processors are contractually bound to maintain confidentiality and protect your data.
• Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information if required to do so by applicable laws, subpoenas, court orders, or valid governmental requests.
• Fellowship Settings: Profile details you voluntarily designate for the internal Saints Directory or post within the mutual fellowship chat rooms will be viewable by other authenticated members of the fellowship app.

4. Data Security

The security of your information is critical to us. We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures, including HTTPS encryption for all data transmissions, to safeguard your personal profile details and financial transactions. However, please be aware that no transmission method over the internet or electronic storage mechanism can be guaranteed 100% secure.

5. Data Deletion and Your Rights

In strict compliance with Google Play Store guidelines, we respect your right to control your personal data. You have the right to review, update, or correct your information at any time through your profile settings.

Account and Data Deletion Request: If you wish to permanently delete your account, remove your information from the Saints Directory, or erase any other personal identifiers from our systems, you may submit a deletion request directly within the App settings or contact our administrative team via email at the address listed below. Upon receiving a verifiable request, we will expunge your personal records from our active databases within the timeframe required by standard platform procedures.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is structured for general fellowship usage, including church families and youth ministries. While we provide specialized schedules and features for our Youth Department and Christian Education department, we do not knowingly or intentionally gather personal identifying data from children under the age of 13 without appropriate parental guidance or supervisory church consent. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without verification, we will delete it promptly.

We may modify or update this Privacy Policy from time to time to align with app revisions, technical adjustments, or changing legal standards.
